Love; a simple word.

it, show it, and give it freely.
Let us not forget why we are here in this life.
We are tried and tested. Sometimes it is easy to fall off the path that leads
us back to our Heavenly Father. Satan knows us and loves to test our weaknesses
to the breaking point. If we remember that he doesn’t want us to be happy then
we can be reminded that we have to stand strong in order to be happy. If we
feel ourselves having self talk saying “you’re no good” that is not us speaking
to ourselves. It is Satan trying to destroy us.
Our Heavenly Father knows our
struggles and he wants to lift us up with his love. He has given us the knowledge
on how to return home, how to choose the right, again. Choosing the right is
not new to us. We chose before we came here.
The way is simple: search, ponder
and pray. Talk to your Heavenly Father, he also knows us and loves for us to
have joy and happiness.
C. Max Caldwell: As I searched the pages of the Book of
Mormon, I gained a new view. Mormon, an ancient prophet of the Americas,
connected the word charity to the Savior. He declared that “charity is
the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever.” (Moro. 7:47.) Forever is a hard word to
wrap the mind around. This life is so enveloped around time that forever seems
like something in a fairy tale. If we live the life that our brother Jesus
Christ wants for us then we can obtain true happiness, in this life and in our
forever in the world to come.
